Engraving

I am also a professional music engraver, and have created scores ranging in size and scope from solo pieces to large orchestral works and opera, originally from hand-written notation and MIDI files. I have also created new piano arrangements and reductions for clients, and done proofreading work. I am experienced in Finale, Sibelius, and LilyPond music notation software, and can engrave your project no matter how complex the notation is. I can provide you with high-quality renderings of your work, as a PDF or image file. I can also create MIDI realizations of your music, and provide recordings in WAV, AIFF, and MP3 audio files, if so desired. With my experience as a classically-trained composer, I can assure you that your scores and parts will be neat, accurate, and consistent in notation.

I charge by the hour, so no matter how long or short, or complex or simple your music is, your project will be completed for a fair price. I work quickly and efficiently, which saves you money, and can dedicate several hours of time to your project every day. No job is too small or large for me! Even if you just need parts extracted from a score you've already created, I can help.

To get an idea of how much your project will cost in total, consider how many pages there are, and how much music is on each page. The cost can also depend on how difficult the notation is. If you have any questions for me, want to see more samples of my work, or would like a quote tailored to your project, please e-mail me at info [at] jordanbortner.com.
